Mike and Nicole Clark

Mike and Nicole Clark own and operate The Pragmatic Studio as part of their software development and training company, Clarkware Consulting, Inc. We love to help developers learn how to craft great software with cutting-edge technologies. We live in Denver, CO.

We work in cooperation with The Pragmatic Programmers to put on several of The Pragmatic Studio courses. We believe that both their books and our training courses offer complementary learning approaches. Studio is a highly collaborative environment where we dig deeper into some topics and cover other topics that aren't in the books. We have hands-on programming exercises, peer-to-peer discussions, and time to answer questions related to what you've read or heard. By attending a Studio you'll get the most up to date training around.

We're really passionate about Studio alumni! Since 2005, over 1200 folks have learned Ruby, Rails, iPhone, and other timely topics in our Studios. It's been our pleasure to meet each and every one of them. Early on we created an alumni mailing list and yearbook site to help keep everyone in touch. It's grown into a supportive, technical community that's far exceeded our expectations. Alumni also receive discounts on future events, a free job posting service, coupons for Pragmatic Programmer books, and our eternal thanks!
